As a special incentive, Alpine Homecare’s Employee Appreciation Program includes its Employee(s) of the Month / Employee of the Year Program, as described below:

1. The Programs:
A) Employee(s) of the Month: Starting in 2014 up to 3 care providers per month can be selected, based on the criteria outlined below.
B) Employee of the Year: Winning the Employee(s) of the Month award includes an automatic nomination for the annual Employee Of The Year Award.

3. Eligibility:
All care providers who have been with Alpine Homecare for a period of more than 3 months and who are not on probationary status at the time of nomination.
4. Nominations:
Care providers can be nominated in writing by co-workers, supervisors, office staff and clients. Nominations are accepted at any time. Submit completed paper forms in person, to the drop box located at the back entrance of Alpine Homecare’s office building, via email to Gregory Khabner at [email protected] or simply fill out our online nomination form. Please feel free to make your clients aware of that they can nominate you for this award. Nominations by clients are of particular value!

5. Criteria:
It is Alpine's intention to award personal care providers who take pride in their job and consistently and reliably provide the best possible care to their clients. The following criteria will be used as guidelines to determine worthy candidates:
- Job Excellence/Task Performance: Flawless, timely and friendly execution of all tasks mandated by the time sheet / plan of care. Ensures at all times the client’s personal safety and comfort, and provides friendly and professional companionship. Consistently adheres to all policies and procedures of Alpine Homecare.
- Punctuality/Reliability/Consistency: Always arrives on time and stays as scheduled to provide services. Never misses a client appointment. Submits accurately and legibly filled out weekly time sheets on time.
- Communication: Communicates clearly and effectively with the client, office personnel and supervisors. Proactively reports to the agency without delay about any changes in client’s condition or schedule. Competently spreads word of mouth about Alpine Homecare and identifies potential clients.
- Responsiveness: Ability to accommodate changes in the client’s scheduling. Readiness to take on new clients or fill-in for other care providers on a temporary or permanent basis.
- Respect/Empathy: Actively listens, respects diversity and is considerate of the feelings, concerns or experience of others. Promotes a caring environment and always respectfully informs or requests permission before performing a task for the client.
- Integrity: Unwavering in their commitment to honesty, excellence and high moral standards. Always trustworthy, honest, and sincere. Does the right thing even when no one is watching. Maintains client confidentiality in all settings. Always follows through on commitments made.
